Professional Partnerships

The Business School adheres to stringent quality standards monitored by the UK Government, external accreditation and membership of professional associations worldwide. In addition to receiving marks of 'excellence' in Subject Reviews from the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), the School has recently announced HEfCE funding to establish Centres for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL).

Awards are made in recognition of excellence in learning, teaching and assessment. The major award is primarily centred at the Business School.

The Business School and its staff take an active role in a number of professional organisations, some of the main ones being shown on the right.

Professional organisations such as AMBA allow us to gain accreditation for our study programmes, providing a measure of quality assurance and recognition.

Our unique and innovative collaboration with ACCA allows us to offer a Bachelors Honours Degree in Applied Accounting, an exclusive degree offered to ACCA students.

Other affiliations provide us with a 'gateway' to industry, keeping us up to date with our ideas and helping us to develop our programmes to meet the current and future needs of industry.
