Careers
At Oxford Brookes University Business School we have helped hundreds of newly qualified graduates, as well as more experienced managers from all walks of life, to realise their career potential. Our strong links with industry give many of opportunities to undertake consultancy projects, and an excellent reputation when it comes to graduate employment.
Careers Centre
Our dedicated Careers Centre can help you make the most of the skills and experience acquired at the Business School. Open Monday to Friday, the Careers Centre also offers a 'drop-in' service where you can arrange an individual session with a careers counsellor.
Other services offered by the Careers Centre include:
- employability workshops, job fairs and employer presentations;
- CV preparation, presentation skills, interview techniques, aptitude and personality tests;
- a careers information room;
- access to careers programs and databases such as Prospects Planner and FunderFinder;
- website with a regularly updated job vacancy service.
International students
If you are from within the European Economic Area (EEA), you can work in the UK without restrictions. If you are a student from outside the EEA, you can apply to work in the UK after your course under the UK Home Office points-based scheme for post-study workers.
