Full-time/Global MBA
Flexible study
The Oxford Brookes MBA offers you the maximum flexibility to fit around your personal and work commitments and to provide you with options if your personal circumstances change.
Full-time and Global combination
The Oxford Brookes MBA also offers a 22-month study option. You join the Full-time MBA programme for four months, from the end of September until the end of December and then switch to the Global MBA programme for a further 18 months.
On this combined Full-time and Global mode of study you experience the intensive induction taken by full-time students at the end of September and continue to study full time until the end of December.
During this period of full-time study you will undergo an induction to help you maximise the learning opportunities on the Global MBA. You will participate in face-to-face workshops which support your Leadership Development module to be taken on the Global MBA programme.
You are encouraged to take an elective module during this period of full-time study, but have the option of taking it with other Global MBA students at a later stage.
"People from so many backgrounds bring a wealth of experience that is hard to find in one company/industry or region ... I learn something new and interesting every day."
- Henry Ngabo, Sierra Leone

In January, four months later, you become a Global MBA distance learning student and study modules including Global Business Strategy, Leadership Development, Accounting and Finance, and Organisational Innovation and Change over the following 18 months. You are given a supervisor to support you with your dissertation or consultancy project and you are expected to complete the dissertation or consultancy project whilst studying for your other modules on the Global MBA. However, you may take a further four months to write up the project according to your individual needs.
The combination of the Full-time and Global MBA programmes is open to all students who meet the normal criteria for entry onto the MBA. If you are from outside the EU you need to arrange a six-month student visitor or student visa for the time that you are studying full time in Oxford.
