MBA Scholarships

Full-time MBA

Oxford Brookes University Business School is delighted to offer a number of scholarships for its full-time MBA programme ranging from £1,000 to 50% of tuition fees (£9,945).

Consideration is given to applicants who:

• experience financial hardship;
• are able to contribute to the learning of others on the programme;
• can demonstrate academic or professional achievement;
• can outline the particular benefits of an MBA to their future career or personal life.

To apply for an MBA scholarship, please include with your MBA application form a statement outlining the reasons you are applying for a scholarship with reference to the criteria above. This should be a maximum of two sides of A4.

Executive MBA

Oxford Brookes University Business School is delighted to offer three scholarships of £3,000 for its Executive MBA programme. This AMBA accredited programme, taught in convenient weekend study blocks, is exceedingly popular with students.

Three students, who apply for the scholarship and meet the criteria set out, will each be awarded a £3,000 scholarship. Please contact the programme administration team for more information and to apply.

John Henry Brookes MSc Scholarships

For September 2012 entry, we are pleased to offer a number of John Henry Brookes Scholarships to full-time UK/EU and international students.

The Simon Williams Scholarship

The Simon Williams scholarships have been established to commemorate the contribution to the Business School and the University of Simon Williams, Dean of the Business School from 1999 - 2005. The scholarship awards are £1,000 paid towards the cost of programme fees.

Eligibility

• Final year Oxford Brookes University Business School undergraduate students are eligible to apply;
• This includes students studying at Nilai College (Malaysia), CCCU (Hong Kong), POU (Poland), IIMT (India) and IBS (Hungary);
• This scholarship can be held simultaneously with other scholarships and awards;
• The scholarships will be announced annually.

Applications

• Applications should be made in writing with supporting documentation to include the names of two referees no later than Friday 29 June 2012;
• The scholarship committee will announce its decision shortly after the deadline;

Santander Scholarships

This year a number of awards will be made to full-time students starting their programmes in September 2012. A total of £30,000 is being awarded in scholarships. Successful applicants will also receive a further 10% discount on their tuition fees from Oxford Brookes.

For the past five years, Santander has awarded postgraduate scholarships to the new master's students at Oxford Brookes on an annual basis. The scholarship fund aims to reward the most academically gifted students from Universities that are supported by the Santander Universidades Scheme.

The award is given to students from named institutions in the following countries:

• studying at, or a graduate from, a university in the Santander Universidades scheme;
• expecting to have, or already have, a good UK bachelor honours degree or equivalent degree from your home country;

Alumnus Discount Scheme

In recognition of the personal loyalty shown by recent graduates and alumni registering for a postgraduate degree, Oxford Brookes University Business School is pleased to announce a discount of 10% off tuition fees for its postgraduate programmes.

Eligible students include any student who has graduated from Oxford Brookes University and wishes to stay on or return for an additional degree (e.g. an undergraduate student who then studies for a taught master's programme, or a taught master's graduate who enrols on another taught master's or a MPhil/PhD programme).

Funding

There are a number of loan schemes available to help you fund postgraduate study, including Career Development Loans and Professional Loan Schemes available from some High Street banks.
