12th Annual Coaching and Mentoring Research Conference
The 12th Annual Coaching and Mentoring Research Conference was held at Oxford Brookes University Business School, Wheatley Campus on Thursday 14 January 2016.
This one-day conference was attended by coaching and mentoring practitioners, students and academics, all with an interest in how research in the field is currently developing. The conference provided opportunities for recent graduates from the MA in Coaching and Mentoring Practice, the Doctor of Coaching and Mentoring and doctoral programmes at other institutions to present their methodologies and findings to a wider audience. The papers were presented on a range of innovative research topics that continue to contribute significantly to the evidence base for professional practice.
Our Keynote speaker (pictured) was Dr Christian van Nieuwerburgh, Associate Professor of Coaching within the Centre for Coaching and Behavioural Change at Henley Business School. He is a highly sought-after executive coach, researcher, and educational consultant with significant leadership experience.
We received great feedback from those whom attended, with many enjoying the variety of informative presentations, as well as the opportunity to network and connect with others in similar fields of research.

Papers from the conference are due to be published in due course in the International Journal of Evidence Based Coaching and Mentoring.
