Every one of our courses is made up from both compulsory and optional modules, which makes it easy to tailor the modular programme to your requirements. Each course also offers the opportunity to do a work placement.

Single and Combined Honours Degrees
As an undergraduate, you can choose to study one subject. We call that a single honours degree. Or you choose to study two subjects and we call that a combined honours degree. If you choose a single honours course, you will study one subject in depth. This will prepare you to be an expert in your chosen field.
If you choose to combine a business related subject with another subject, you can develop an existing passion into a rewarding career. At Brookes you can tailor a combined degree programme to meet your specific interests or needs by splitting your study time equally between both subjects, or by majoring in one of the two subjects. If you choose to major in one subject, your accompanying minor subject will account for a third to a quarter of your overall work.

Final Year Entry: Upgrade to an Oxford Brookes business degree
If you have completed an appropriate course you could be eligible to apply for second or final year entry onto one of the prestigious Oxford Brookes University Business School courses. This means you could study towards an Oxford Brookes University degree with a minimum of one year of study if your previous qualification is recognised by the University.
